Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Rapido POS, provided by RAPIDAGO LLC, handles information. Rapido POS is a local-first point-of-sale application for retail businesses.
Information stored on the device
The app stores business information locally, including products, barcodes, prices, categories, stock, sales, returns, payments, receipts, till sessions, customers, customer phone numbers and addresses, credit balances, suppliers, purchasing records, warehouses, inventory counts, tax settings, printer settings and backups. This information is used to provide the features requested by the user.
Camera, photos and Bluetooth
Camera access is used for barcode scanning and, when selected by the user, product photos. Photo-library access is used only when the user chooses an image. Bluetooth access is used to discover and connect compatible receipt and label printers. Camera and photo information is not used for advertising or tracking.
Sharing, export and backup
Rapido POS can generate receipts, labels and backup files. Information leaves the app only when the user chooses to share, save, print, back up or restore it.
Advertising
The app may display Google AdMob banners outside cashier-critical workflows. Depending on the device and region, Google may process an IP address used to estimate approximate location, app and ad interactions, diagnostics, and device or account identifiers such as an app set ID or advertising ID when available. This advertising data is encrypted in transit and is used for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention under Google’s own policies. Where required, Google’s User Messaging Platform presents privacy choices before the app requests ads and provides a way to review those choices later. Users may purchase Remove Ads or subscribe to Rapido Pro to hide advertising.
In-app purchases
Rapido POS may offer a one-time Remove Ads purchase and monthly or yearly Rapido Pro auto-renewing subscriptions. Payments are processed by the platform app store. RAPIDAGO LLC does not receive payment-card details through the app. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in the user’s store account settings.
Data sharing and retention
The current release does not upload local POS records to a RAPIDAGO LLC backend. Business information remains on the device until the user deletes it, clears app data, uninstalls the app or restores another backup. Exported backups remain wherever the user saves them.
Children
Rapido POS is a business tool and is not directed to children.
Choices and deletion
Users can remove local information from within the app, clear the app’s storage or uninstall it. Advertising and purchase controls are available in the app and in the relevant store account.
Changes
This policy may be updated when application features, legal requirements or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
